Another noodle shop in Gardena, but one a bit different than the ramen I’ve been getting recently.
First, the positives: The service was friendly, and the noodles are hand made.
The not so good? I didn’t especially like those noodles, as they were quite thick, extremely curly, and a bit overcooked. The broth was quite different; sesame laden, with a touch of vinegar and spice, but I found it to be too thick and a bit murky. Overall, I have a hard time classifying the dish as ‘ramen’, at least not as I’m used to. If I were to classify it as just a noodle dish, maybe I’d like it more, but I’m comparing it to ramen, and it didn’t stack up to my expectations. With so many other fantastic ramen places nearby here, I’d have a hard time going back unless someone in my family really had their heart set on it!
